    Battle System

    Monster Selection

When battle starts, you choose the monster(s) you want to attack with. If they control no monsters, you can attack them directly. If they control a monster, you must instead choose one of their monsters to attack.

    Battle System

    Stats

All monsters have 4 stats that are used in battle, Attack, Defense, Hp, and Speed. These stats are located in the bottom left of the card.

Atk: This is the damage dealt when this monster is the one attacking

Def: This is the damage dealt when this monster is being attacked

Hp: This is how much damage a monster can take before getting sent to a graveyard

Spe: When battling, the monster with the higher Spe deals damage first (if tied damage is dealt at the same time

    Battle System

When attacking directly: remove life points form your opponent equal to the monster’s Atk

When attacking a monster: if attacking, remove Hp from the opposing monster equal to your monster’s Atk. If defending, remove Hp from the opposing monster equal to your monster’s Def.

The monster with higher Spe deals damage first

    Rituals/Castings/Tomes

All spells require Mpc (magic power cost) to be used. To gain Mpv (magic power value) you must control monsters or tomes that give Mpv equal to the amount needed for the spell.

When you use Mpv you must wait until your upkeep next turn for it to replenish. If you lose a monster or tome, you lose the Mpv they provided.

Rituals and tomes can only be used during your turn, while castings can be played any time.

    Rituals/Castings/Tomes

Tomes are permanent spells (their effect only goes away when it is destroyed.) If the tome targets a monster, and the monster dies, you can change the tome’s target to another monster.

    Dwellings

Dwelling are cards that you can only control one of at a time. A dwelling goes into a separate zone to give all monster of that type in play that boost

There are two parts of a dwelling, the effect and the advantage. The effect is a general effect that affects all monsters, and the advantage/dwelling boost only affects your monsters. Both of these effects only affect the monsters of that Species
